Beginning our tour, the first place your samples go when received at the lab are Sample Custody.

Since most samples received for analysis require some form of extraction, digestion, or pre-treatment before analysis; the next stop for your samples is usually Sample Preparation.

Samples have arrived at the lab and now the production cycle begins as we race to service your needs as promptly as technically possible.
It is here that the samples are accepted, paperwork is confirmed, and the work is logged into our LIMS system.
Our Sample Custody Department is open Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm for the current Fall season.
Sample Custody & Sample Preparation work closely with each other to maintain the legal Chain of Custody required for testing under EPA protocols for certified labs.
After sample preparation is complete, the extracted samples move forward into the analytical areas.....
